About
Eugenia Bolinaga is a Venezuelan fashion designer based in New York City. Her work explores the tension between structure and softness, creating garments that feel as lived-in as they are refined. A graduate of Parsons School of Design, Eugenia’s perspective is shaped by a layered upbringing—rooted in the warmth of Miami, defined by the intensity of New York, and informed by her early years in Venezuela.
Her collections often begin with questions of duality: how clothing can move between the private and the public, between comfort and formality, without losing intention. She focuses on soft tailoring, minimalist silhouettes, and hybrid garments that reference classics—trench coats, blazers, shirting—reimagined with pajama-inspired details, deconstruction, and subtle functionality.
Stripes are a recurring visual thread in her work, drawn from Venezuelan kinetic art and the sharp shadows of film noir. Her approach is quiet but specific: emphasizing fit, construction, and narrative. At its core, Eugenia’s design practice is about dressing the modern woman for a life in motion—sharp, soft, and self-possessed.
